Chief Executive Officer

David Cox

David Cox is Chief Executive Officer of Service Minds, where he leads the company’s overall vision, strategy, and performance. He is responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening field execution, and accelerating sustainable growth across all Service Minds brands. Under his leadership, the organization continues to focus on building high-performing teams, improving customer experience, and scaling best-in-class residential services operations.

 

David is an experienced executive, investor, and operator with a diverse background spanning venture capital, start-ups, technology, aeronautics, and franchising. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Chief Transformation Officer at Service Minds, where he played a key role in improving field performance and operational alignment across the organization. He also previously led About Time Management LLC as Chief Executive Officer for more than 18 years, building a successful multi-unit residential services franchise organization.

 

He is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he earned a degree in Aeronautical Science and Business Management. A licensed Airline Transport Pilot with over 5000 hours of flight time, David’s aviation background reflects his emphasis on precision, discipline, preparation, and continuous improvement in leadership.

 

Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children.

Chief Financial Officer

Bryan Meany

Bryan Meany is Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Service Minds. He is a seasoned leader with almost 25 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Administration, and Operations across multiple industries, including Healthcare, Hospitality, Technology, and Consumer & Residential Services. At Service Minds, he oversees the Accounting, Finance, IT, and System Administrator teams. Bryan holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA with concentrations in Forensic Accounting and Management from the University of South Florida. He is a Florida CPA and former member of the Tampa Bay Business Journal Leadership Trust and CFO Exchange Group. Prior to joining Service Minds, Bryan served as CFO and COO of Trash Butler, the second-largest doorstep valet waste provider in the United States. Outside of work, Bryan enjoys following market trends and stock trading, staying active with long walks, exploring downtown St. Petersburg, and setting personal records in Golden Tee.

Vice President of Human Resources

Matt Cummings

Matt Cummings serves as Vice President of Human Resources and organizational change leader with deep experience guiding companies through growth, transformation, and mergers and acquisitions. He specializes in aligning people’s strategy with business objectives by building scalable HR frameworks that balance operational rigor with a strong employee experience. Across complex, multi-site organizations, Matt has led cultural integration, leadership development, talent strategy, and HR technology modernization, with a consistent focus on data-driven decision-making and transparent communication. Outside of work, Matt prioritizes health and wellness through regular strength training and fitness routines, enjoys hands-on home improvement projects, and values spending quality time with his wife and their three grown children.

Chief Legal and Compliance Officer

Gordon L. Mowen, II

Gordon L. Mowen, II serves as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, providing strategic leadership across fleet operations, safety, risk mitigation, and claims management. Prior to joining Service Minds, Gordon was a Partner at Orndorff Mowen, where he advised national and regional organizations across the residential services, consumer services, and manufacturing sectors on complex legal, regulatory, employment, and commercial matters. He brings extensive experience guiding companies through high-stakes litigation, compliance strategy, and appellate advocacy at both the state and federal levels, including appearing before the U.S. Supreme Court and co-authoring a multistate amicus brief in a landmark constitutional case; most recently, he also served as counsel to the West Virginia Senate Judiciary Committee. Outside of work, Gordon enjoys golfing, maintaining an active fitness routine, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.

Senior Vice President

Eddie Wells

Eddie Wells is Senior Vice President overseeing both One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning and Mister Sparky, bringing disciplined leadership, deep operational expertise, and a relentless drive for excellence to the organization. A Master Electrician by trade, Eddie began his career in the field with Mister Sparky and steadily advanced through the organization, serving in leadership roles including Regional Director and Division Vice President of One Hour Heating & Air before assuming his current enterprise-wide role. His leadership approach is shaped by a distinguished military career, instilling a strong foundation of accountability, execution, and service to others. Highly driven and intensely focused on continuous improvement, Eddie is an avid reader of leadership and professional development books and applies those principles directly to team development and operational performance. Outside of work, he maintains a rigorous fitness routine and is actively engaged in supporting his son’s and daughter’s sports and activities, reinforcing the values of discipline, teamwork, and commitment that guide his leadership.

Senior Vice President

Mario Martinez

Mario Martinez is a Senior Vice President at Service Minds, supporting operations for Benjamin Franklin Plumbing along with centralized call center and dispatch teams across the organization. With more than two decades in the trades, Mario began his career as a plumber before joining Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in 2005 and has since grown into an executive leader known for building high-performing teams and scalable operations. He holds a degree in Criminal Justice and brings a disciplined, structured approach to leadership, operational execution, and revenue growth. Over the past several years, Mario has helped lead the development and expansion of multiple branches from the ground up, scaling operations to nearly $3 million in monthly revenue and helping establish one of the highest-performing groups within the Service Minds network.

 

Mario’s areas of expertise include operational scaling, leadership development, sales and performance systems, and building strong service cultures that drive sustainable growth. He is passionate about developing leaders from within and believes that aligning the right people, culture, and processes creates organizations that consistently outperform the market.
